The first activity arranged by the new committe - a table quiz - was held at the Village Inn, Killyclogher on 17th April. The night was a tremendous success raising £482.22 for band funds!
The night was very well supported and our thanks go out to all that contributed and attended to make the event so enjoyable and profitable!

The Band held its AGM in February and a new chair and committee were elected for this year.
Lorna Martin was unanimously elected as Chair and becomes the first woman to hold the post in the band's history!
Many thanks were extended to the outgoing chair, Paul Breen, who has given many years of service to the band in this position.
Many committee positions remain unchanged with Arthur, Pat, Richard, Gerry remaining in their posts. We welcome Catherine and Claire onto the committee and thank outgoing Beverley for her contribution during the past year.
Ron remains our outstanding librarian, co-opted onto the committee, so that our now fully reorganised extensive llibrary of music can remain in its present state for some time to come! (Well done Ron!)

On the 9th October the band once more convened at Richard and Lorna's house to record our second cd - this time a festive special entitled 'A Christmas With St Eugene's Band'!
The recording lasted all day with a break for a very special lunch prepared by Bill's wife, Isobel, and what a fantastic spread it turned out to be!
The day went remarkably smoothly with a good time had by all - especially Nevan the dog, who enjoyed the youngsters attention and play!
The cd's are now pressed and we are awaiting the covers from the printers - hopefully the cd will available from 1st November. Look out for a bright red cover!
